Disable Push registration

Disabling a Push registration ID will prevent the system from sending Push messages to the selected device application.

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
applicationCode String Application code - application identifier which links your mobile application to the application profile created in Infobip Platform
pushRegistrationId String Push registration ID - Unique ID that represents one mobile application installation on one mobile device

Disable Push registration

Disabling Push registration will prevent sending Push messages to devices with the mobile application that have the associated Push registration ID. Sending Push messages can be restored just as easily with a similar API call shown in the next example.

DELETE /push/1/applications/{applicationCode}/registrations/{pushRegistrationId}/enabled HTTP/1.1
Host: api.infobip.com
Authorization: Basic QWxhZGRpbjpvcGVuIHNlc2FtZQ==

If the API call was a success, HTTP status 204 (No Content) will be returned.

Enable Push registration

Sending Push notifications is enabled by default for each new Push registration ID. In case the Disable method is used for a Push registration ID, this method will restore the ability to send new messages.

PUT /push/1/applications/{applicationCode}/registrations/{pushRegistrationId}/enabled HTTP/1.1
Host: api.infobip.com
Authorization: Basic QWxhZGRpbjpvcGVuIHNlc2FtZQ==

If the API call was a success, HTTP status 204 (No Content) will be returned.
